Privacy Policy

FitCV is operated by Vizento Labs, LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the FitCV mobile apps collect, how it is used, and the choices you have.

No accounts, no email

FitCV does not use accounts. You never sign in, and we never collect your email address. Your data is linked to an anonymous identifier created on your device. It stays on that device unless you delete it.

Data we collect

• Optional name. If you enter a first name during onboarding it is used only for the greeting on your home screen. You can skip it.
• Content you provide. Resumes you upload, job postings and links you save, and the tailored CVs and cover letters generated from them.
• Usage data. Counts of generations, saved jobs, and goal progress, used to show your activity and enforce plan limits.
• Purchase data. Subscription status from Apple App Store or Google Play, processed by RevenueCat. We never see your payment card details.

How we use your data

• To provide the product: parsing your resume, extracting job postings, and generating tailored documents. This processing uses Anthropic's Claude AI models. Your content is sent to Anthropic's API solely to produce results for you and is not used by us to train AI models.
• To enforce plan limits on your device's workspace.
• To manage subscriptions and unlock paid features.

We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. We do not use your content for advertising or profiling.

Service providers

We rely on these processors to run FitCV: Convex (database and backend hosting), Anthropic (AI processing), RevenueCat (subscription management), Apple and Google (payments). Each receives only the data needed for its function.

Data retention and deletion

Your data is kept until you delete it. Settings, Delete My Data permanently removes your workspaces, resumes, saved jobs, generated documents, and usage history from our systems, immediately. Subscription records held by Apple or Google follow their retention rules.

Notifications

The optional daily reminder is scheduled locally on your device. We do not send remote push notifications.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel.

Children

FitCV is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Data deletion is available in the app; for anything else contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
